BKCFOC Theme: Ears or Whiskers

It's time for the Bad Kitty Cats Festival of Chaos and the theme is ears or whiskers.
~~~~~
As you can see, I have two different colored ears - one mostly tan and one mostly gray! And I have very good hearing - Yes, I can hear the can opener opening a can of tuna from anywhere in the whole entire house,
including my screened-in porch!
~~~~~
Since I have a lot of white on my face,
my whiskers don't show up so much
which is why I picked this picture with a darker background.
Well, it shows off my eyelashes anyway!
Today's Festival is being hosted by Mog
over at Mind of Mog - visitors are always welcome!
The Carnival of Cats is also today
but in the process of being relocated
and right now I can't find out who the new host will be...
~~~~~
UPDATE: The Carnival was graciously hosted at This, That and the Other Thing by Mouse, Indigo, Kosmo and Amber!
~~~~~
Thanks to Astrid, Kashim & Othello for the new festival graphics!

Remembering Kallie

I just heard some sad news this morning
that Jeter and Mickey lost their sister, Kallie.
She lived at their house for 17 1/2 years
and was a very much loved and special cat.
Here is my candle for Kallie:

Wonderful Wednesday

In October China Cat and I, along with Dragonheart,
won Samantha & Tigger's 10,000th Comment Contest.
We received a gift box
but my Food Lady didn't give it to us right away.

She said she wanted to wait to take pictures.
~~~~~
And hooray, today is the day we got to open the box!
~~~~~

~~~~~
Thank you so much Samantha, Tigger and your mom too!
I had so much fun!
Toesday on the Porch
Today it was 74 degrees out
and only two days before Thanksgiving,
which also happens to be my 1st Blogoversary!
~~~~~
Of course I had to spend time out in my screened-in porch.
I was watching to see
if the chipmunks would come out from under the deck.
~~~~~
While watching you can see that I have very good toe positioning;
both front paws are aligned
so that my toes point directly in front of me.
Even when I turn to look at the birds eating from the bird feeders,
my toes continue to be aligned.
I believe that this photo also shows my tummy quite nicely!
BCK: On Purpose or On Accident
It's time for the Bad Kitty Cats Festival of Chaos
and the optional theme is: On Purpose or On Accident.
So, there are bands in my food bowl and in my water bowl...
It could have been an accident or it could have been on purpose?????
~~~ what's that over there??? ~~~ ~~~~~~~ it's still in my water bowl... ~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~ what, now food too??? ~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~ maybe I can get it... ~~~~~~~~I'd really like some food... ~~~~~~~~~~~ China, do you think that you could look up
and be really cute and get some food for us???????~~~~~
~~~~I don't know.....maybe......~~~~~~~~Hi, did you notice that the kitties are hungry?????~~~~~~We finally have some food...
And don't forget,
Weekend Cat Blogging is at Paulchen's Food Blog,
the Bad Kitty Cats Festival of Chaos is being hosted
by Kashim & Othello at The Catboys Realm and
Carnival of the Cats is over at Pet's Garden Blog.
Forgot until Friday
I have two Halloween pictures that I wanted to post today.
I was going to post them earlier but I forgot.
~~~~~
This picture was taken right by my front door
and the decorations are always different for different holidays.
I like to sit up here and look out the front door,
but right now I am not looking out of the front door.
Tabbycat likes to dress up for the holidays but I don't.
That's why when I sit here with Tabbycat, I look more festive too!
Outside my front door you can see that there was a table
with my pumpkin and some black cats with cobs of corn
decorated for Halloween.
My Food Lady discovered that someone
had been eating the decorative corn
and scattered it all over the porch.
Someone even grabbed a big cob and took it under the bush
to finish eating the corn.
I think that it is a squirrel as one was seen running
when the door opened.
~~~~~
My responsibility was to alert my Food Lady when the culprit reappeared and then we would know for sure who ate the corn.
~~~~~
The sad part is I never found the culprit
and my Food Lady has since cleaned up the front porch.

BKC Theme: Clean or Dirty

The Bad Kitty Cats Festival of Chaos
is over at This, That & The Other Thing.
Poor Amber is having problems with her long fur
but she's still ready for the Festival.
~~~~~
The Theme this week is Clean or Dirty.
~~~~~
Now I thought it would be very easy
for me to find a nice picture of me grooming.
After all my Food Lady is always after me
with that flashy box.
~~~~~
Much to my surprise,
there were only a few pictures of me grooming!
What's up with that???
I am a very clean cat!
Look how my white furs shine!
I think I'll go groom now,
not because I like the flashy box,
but apparently we need
more grooming pictures of me!
And don't forget to head over to Justin's Random Thoughts
for the 190th edition of Carnival of the Cats.
Sunshine & Shadows and Missing Monty
After helping my Food Lady
dress up for Anastasia's Last Dare yesterday,
I deserve a nice nap in the sunshine.
See, my shadow is napping with me!
~~~~~
Although I am happy and safe napping,
I am worried about my friend, Monty.
He has been missing since Wednesday night

so I am sending him purrs

to safely find his way back home.

Anastasia's IDYA #3

China Cat got my Food Lady dressed up for Anastasia's Dare.
She gave her a fluffhead to dress up
but then suddenly there appears...

the Black Cat Bottle.
~~~~~
What can this mean?
My Food Lady has different hair now...
I was watching - Did I cause the change???
Anastasia's Dare said to dress up your human...
However, she seems happy while doing the Dare...
Please, Food Lady, come back to me!
I am loving the True Love Road Trip
I am really enjoying myself on Lucky's True Love Road Trip!
China Cat and I joined everyone at
Daisy's in Florida.
I couldn't believe it when I saw
that Daisy made Lizard Stew for all of us.
I have never even seen a real lizard before
and here I am in Florida, eating Lizard Stew!
Daisy really was a great hostess!
Daisy wanted to make sure that Lucky
would look her best when we get to Luxor's house.
So, they looked in Daisy's closet
and found that Pixie's Pink Robe was perfect.
Pixie said it was OK for Lucky to borrow her robe.
Doesn't she look lovely!
Now this was really exciting...
Samantha & Tigger actually had some buses
teleported over from Wales so that we could all ride together.
I hate riding in the car in my PTU
but we all could just roam all over the bus,
eating snacks and visiting!
How cool is this!!!
Here is a picture someone took of us in one of the buses.
China Cat was singing "On The Road Again" to me.
I was thinking how can we be on the road again???
We've never been on the road before!!!!
Moe and Mindy even let me drive the bus for a little while.
Well, only until Mindy noticed an alligator out of the window.
I had mentioned at Daisy's that I was staying inside
in case there was an alligator in her yard.
I think that I would be very much afraid if I saw an alligator.
She suggested that Moe had better drive
which was an excellent idea as I did almost pass out
when I saw this huge creature out of the bus window!
When we got to Galveston Missy and KC had packed up
a party picnic basket full of snacks, kitty grass and sparkling water
for the 20 mile ride out to the Gulf of Mexico.
There was a lot of water which meant lots of fresh seafood.
We all enjoyed a superb seafood buffet!
I have been eating since we left Florida!
Then we went to Lubbock to see Angus Mhor.
I was terrified by this tornado but Angus was our hero
and we landed safely at his ranch!
Angus seemed a little surprised
when none of us wanted to try the horned toad.
He thought since we all liked the Lizard Stew,
why not try a horned toad?
Anyway, he did treat us to some fine Roadkill Armadillo.
I think he said that it was fresh?!
But it tasted kind of chickeny so I liked it - I love chicken!
Before we knew it, we reached New Mexico.
Lucky was so excited to meet up with Luxor.
Oh, it was so romantic...
They even have a lovely graphic from
Zoolatry
to remember their meeting!
