I don't wear costumes...

I really don't care how many times you show me these wonderful costumes that you brought home, my dearest Food Lady - but I still refuse to wear any of them! OK, maybe I'll play with the ribbons
but don't let that hat drop on my head!
I do believe that I will just stay behind the tree
until all of those costumes are properly put away!

Secret Paws from Yuki

I received my Secret Paws package a few days ago but my Food Lady has been so busy we haven't been able to post my pictures until today!
~~~~~
Yuki from Kazoku Neko was my Secret Paw. She is a beautiful white cat and her names means "snow" in Japanese. I think that is a terrific name for such a pretty white cat! And she sent me some really terrific presents!
~~~~~
I could smell catnip in the box so I went in the box
as soon as my Food Lady got it opened for me.
China Cat came over to see what I had going on.
She found one of my catnip mousies
and she didn't even see that there were
Salmon Temptations right behind her!
I didn't know what to play with first... Oh, what fun - look at these little mousies...
they are the same color as me!
They are called Skitter Critters!
And she sent me feather toys - I love feathers!
I smell some more catnip here... Look at my card from Yuki! It says to have a merry little Christmas
and I certainly am doing that! In her card she personally recommended the Skitter Critters because of the catnip! She was right about that!
~~~~~
I Love Catnip and Feather Toys and Temptations
and sweet Yuki for sending me such great presents!
Monday Mail
I had such fun helping to pack the package for my Secret Paw.
I was being very careful not to show all the secret presents.
Wasn't I good?!?!?!
~~~~~I was having such a good time
I almost mailed myself!
Wouldn't that surprise my Secret Paw!!!
Ann from Zoolatry made a lovely picture
of both of us with Santa Claws.
I hope that he thinks we've been good!

Thanks on Thursday

What an exciting day it is today!
China Cat and I had some mail to open.
We received a Christmas Card
from Mom Laura, Mu Shue and Lilly Lu!
This is our first ever Christmas Card!
There's a picture of all three of them on the card
and they wished us "Happy Holidays" - thanks so much!
~~~~~
And then there was more!
It's wasn't Secret Paws but it was a very special package indeed!
My Food Lady has actually given us a Holiday Gizzy Quilt!
The special limited edition of the Holiday Gizzies
was on sale last September and we really wanted one.
We saw on some of the other cat's blogs
that they had received beautiful Holiday Gizzies.
Well, the surprise was on us...
My Food Lady DID buy us a Holiday Gizzy
from Mom Lynne and Millie!
~~~~~
It has been hiding in my Food Lady's closet
since September!
Actually, she caught me in there one day, sniffing around,
but she told me that there wasn't anything for me!
Ah Ha...It was Nip that I smelled in that closet!
Along with the lovely Holiday Gizzy,
there was a Christmas Nip Ravioli that Mom Robyn
(from HotMBC) made with some Primo Nip!
~~~~~
So I made a slide strip to show
how much both China Cat and I enjoyed
our brand new Christmas Gizzy and Nip Ravioli
and our 1st Christmas Card!
Tuesday Toys and Toes
Look at this terrific toy my Food Lady gave to me!
I had seen some of the other cats
playing with these feathery toys
but I didn't know if I would enjoy it.
~~~~~
One swat and I love it!
I am concentrating
on grabbing it in my mouth...
One quick leap and it's mine!!!!!
~~~~~
Oh, and since it's Toesday,
How 'bout those toes...
BKCFOC Theme: Toys or Boxes
Well, it's time for the Bad Kitty Cats Festival of Chaos!
It's hosted this week by Samantha and Tigger
at Life From a Cat's Perspective.
~~~~~
The theme includes two of my very favorite things: Toys or Boxes!
It was hard for me to decide which one to choose
however my Food Lady had some boxes
that she brought up from downstairs
and I just had to investigate!
This box looks big enough for me to sleep in!
Can I have a blanket in here???
Then I saw China Cat had seen the other box.
The top of the box was laying on the rug.
Let's take a look at this...
I think that I can fit in here,
well, the front half of me fits!
I wonder what's in the box... Uh oh, I almost fell in. China Cat, don't laugh at me

Sunday Snoopervising

I thought that Sunday was supposed to be for snoozing???
Instead my Food Lady brought a big box into the living room.
I was interested when she started unpacking all sorts of different things.
I sniffed everything.
~~~~~
Then my Food Lady and I read the instructions.
Since we're both girls, we always read the instructions first,
unlike my dad aka my Big Janitor.
I had to check to see if there are any more parts in the plastic.
See what happened to my tail...
I ran under the plastic so fast
that the flashy box couldn't picture my whole tail!
No time for snoozing now, I must snoopervise!
We're building a table for our laptop!
~~~~~
And then we are going to visit Zed Monster & the Bad Kitty Cats
who are hosting today's Carnival of the Cats!

Thankful Thursday and Weekend Cat Blogging

I am very thankful that I have this nice window
to look out at all of the birds and squirrels that come to visit.
Today I had a very hungry squirrel visitor.
I call him Scooter Squirrel because he scoots all around my yard.
Scooter doesn't know that I am watching him.
Look at that silly squirrel...
Scooter hangs upside down to reach the bird's food.
Then Scooter pulls himself up and eats bird food.
I wonder if I would like that bird food???
I like crunchy food and that looks crunchy!
Hey, Scooter, don't turn your back on me!
Oh, I think he just wants me to see
that his tail is way floofier than mine.
It's OK, Scooter - I still like my tail.
~~~~~
I'm also thankful that Scooter found some food since it's cold out,
but I'm really thankful to be an inside cat with food in my bowl.
~~~~~~
Another thing that I was very thankful for was that I was able to attend Miss Peach's Tea Party yesterday. Everyone was invited and we were all given a beautiful golden rose when it was time to go.
~~~~~
I want to say thank you, Miss Peach and Happy Birthday to Momma Karla!
~~~~~
Check it out...
