Poor Willow

I am so sad.....
 ~~~~~
I had to go to the V-E-T on Wednesday, March 6th and then back again on Monday, March 25th. I didn't want to go but my Food Lady stuffed me in the PTU and made me go. I have not been eating very well and have curled up sleeping more than usual. Both times the doctors gave me fluids and I didn't like that at all but it did make me feel better for a little bit of time.
~~~~~
The last V-E-T Doctor that I saw on Monday said that I should have canned cat food instead of my crunchies. I really like the gravy but am not eating much of the meat.
~~~~~
I hope that I feel better soon.
If you could send me some purrs, maybe that will help me.
Purrs from us too!
Note from the human: Derry has had bladder issues in the past, and while he LOVES dry food, he and Nicki get only 2 TBSP per day, the rest is canned food. It took a while before I found something Derry would eat, but to entice him to eat more of it, I started sprinkling a bit of FortiFlora on it. Not a lot, just like a seasoning. It's a probiotic, and seems to be quite tasty to them.
I also have used a coffee/spice grinder and ground up some kibble to sprinkle on the canned food, again, to entice Derry to eat it.
Either of those ideas might help Willow.
Good luck.
Sending healing purrrrrrrss to Willow. Pee problems are rough.
To the pawrent: Have you tried Willow on bean baby foods? Make sure it is just the meat, no onions or such, and maybe mix it is a little with kittie foods. Might help get Willow started. If the foods are the smooth 'pate' style, maybe adding a little water to make it more like soop would help.
Just a couple things to try.
Hang in there, kittie.
My Food Lady is going to the store now to try and get something for me to eat. Thanks so much for the suggestions and the purrs.
Willow, we are sorry you aren't feeling good. We love our dry crunchies, and gravy too. If Oui Oui had to eat only wet foods she would probably starve. Our mom thinks they are made that way on purpose by the kitty fuds makers. We like pate best - no lumps for us. We hope you are feeling better soon and if your windows are shaking, that's us purring for you.
Thank you so much for all of the purrs.....I am trying to eat and get better. China Cat is trying to help me feel better too - she is a good snuggler!
Purrrrrrrrrrs, Willow
P.S. As Willow's Food Lady and Mom I am really scared about how she seems to be feeling. I just hope that tomorrow brings better news.
