This morning I went out in the screened-in porch to enjoy some fresh air and look for birds and bunnies. I was under the couch looking at a robin through the screen. I heard a noise behind me and quickly turned around and came out from under the couch. It was my Food Lady sitting on the rug. She wanted to take a picture of me looking at the robin but I didn't know that when I came out. My picture is a bit blurred because I was walking toward my Food Lady. I sat down and listened...
There was a noise that wasn't there before... Excuse me, Food Lady,
did you hear that noise??? It is kind of a shrill barking type of noise. I know that two little dogs live over that way. Now those noises are getting louder! There is a deep barking noise back there.
So far I count at least 2 little shrill barking dogs on the right,
2 medium barking dogs on the left... and now there is
a really loud big dog barking behind my house. There is the big black dog that started everybody barking!
He is new around here and he sure likes to bark.
My Big Janitor Dad thinks that he is just visiting.
I hope it's just a visit - I like my porch quieter than this! Here is a collage of my Noisy Sunday Morning.
And now it started thundering so I am heading into
the house to hide under the bed!

I'll be back out when it is quiet again!

Sorry the dogs ruined a perfectly good porch day for you. But as dogs, we have to say, we do like to bark. Except Buddy. He likes to howl.
Buddy, Merci & Sam
That's a BIG dog! Our woofies are little like us!
Sniffie and the Florida Furkids
I think it was a little bit rude of the doggies to ruin your peaceful afternoon! I hope things quiet down so you can relax.
Isn't that just like a D-O-G? Bark, bark, bark. That's all they ever say.
We haf one of dem rabble rousers, dat's what mom calls da silly woofie dat starts effury other woofie barking. He starts barking and if no one barks back he shuts up, but he really likes it when dey all start barking. His daddy comes out and tells him to shut up when he does dat...sometimes her does but more often he hasta go inside cuz he won't lissen.
We hope that big doggie is just visiting!
We don't like it when woofies keep barking, it's too much noise. We hope he is only a visitor.
On Sundayz it should be nice an' quiet soz kitties can meditate an' say purr-ayers. Tell youz momma ta putz some peanut butterz on sum bread an' gib it ta da doggie, hehehe!☺
I can totally relate to your experience, Willow. There is a small white dog, resembling a floor mop, who lives to the left side of my home, and a large golden retriever who lives to the right side! Kelsey (the golden) is actually quieter than Gigi (the floor mop), who will bark incessantly if she gets it in her furry little head to do so! Many a tranquil morning has been shattered in this manner. So, you have my utmost sympathy! Hang in there!
Yours, Leia
We especially like your pose in photo #8273 -- it's like a pro portrait!
You look so pretty in those pictures, Willow. I'm sorry about all the barking. It definitely can mess up a good nap.
Love,
Tazo
lol - Those pictures are so funny. Our Kooki is exactly the same when a dog is around!
Hi Willow!
I am back now and I have a new blog! Please pop by and visit me and my new (big) brother if you get a chance.
It sounds like a noisy place to be with all those doggies. My brother and I have to stay quiet when we are outside so we don't disturb the neighbours. But there are 2 big doggies in our building who can be heard even when they are inside!

Hi Willow,
Thank you for visiting Hemi's blog. I really enjoyed your play-by-play of that bad dog making his appearance so close to your territory.
Hemi was very appalled upon hearing all of this. BTW you are a beautiful cat!!
Great kitty you are there. How dare a dog bother you! As they say " Dogs think that are people..cats know they are GODS" . I love my twins, cats are the coolest.
A little tidbit from organic-cat.net
Cats, not dogs, are the most common pets in America.
There are approximately 66 million cats to 58 million dogs, with Parakeets a distant third at 14 million.
A little dated, but Felines RULE!
